Solid Purple is an election forecast model developed by Zach Heltzel. This project started as a recreational exercise and is not intended to be interpreted as a scientific or academic pursuit. It is simply an attempt to synthesize publicly available survey results with population-level demographic data in a way that is both informative and fun. I would not use the forecast outputs to place bets on political outcomes, so neither should you.
